DESCRIPTION
Budget-conscious hunters can get the NIKON ProStaff 550 Laser Rangefinder, Green (8369) with the same 550-yard ranging capability and waterproof/fogproof integrity as with the RifleHunter, but without the ID technology feature.
The ProStaff 550 has an easy-to-view uncluttered LCD display for fast, easy ranging, even in bright sunlight and a single button operation for fast, easy measurements. The unit measures ranges in either yards or meters and features an automatic power shut off after the reading has been displayed for eight seconds.
This model laser rangefinder has an ultra-compact size. It fits in a pocket or pack, and can be worn on a belt without interfering with your shot. The laser rangefinder features Nikon’s legendary multicoated optics and proprietary anti-reflective coatings, which offer high-resolution images in most lighting conditions.
The rangefinder provides an exit pupil of 3.5mm for maximum brightness under less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The eyepiece is adjustable with a range of ±4 diopters, and has 18mm of eye relief and folds down for use with eyeglasses. In addition, the Nikon ProStaff 550 is powered by one CR-2 lithium battery that is included with the rangefinder.
